One of the things I love about my camper is the giant refrigerator!
But I don't like how it dominates my tiny camper!
I decided to make it less obtrusive - First I covered it with adhesive vinyl. I actually would have preferred to find some higher quality vinyl, but the cheap stuff from Family Dollar was the only light pattern that worked.
Then, I painted the plastic trim with a good multi-surface craft paint made by Plaid which I picked up at Walmart for less than $1/bottle. It is made in the US and seems to be very high quality. It is permanent after it has thoroughly dried.
It took about 3 coats, mostly because I kept missing places lol. Just to be safe, I didn't paint it on the handles, where it was more likely to chip off. The color I used was called "Marshmallow".
Isn't it a fantastic improvement!
It really made the camper feel larger! I highly recommend it.
It no longer dominates the camper!!
If you like the saying on the refrigerator - and you have a Silhouette cutter, I'll give you the cut file -
I thought the saying "A Crowded Camper is Better Than A Roomy Castle" was perfect!
If you have the portrait, you can resize it to cut - it will be about 9 3/4" wide x 8" high
For my refrigerator, I cut it about 10.6" x 8.7" - the size it is in the file you can download here.
In addition to the silhouette cut file, I have included a printable version in .png and .pdf formats. Even a coloring book version!
DOWNLOAD INSTRUCTIONS:
It is hosted on Google Drive.
When you click the link, it will show you the zip file and all the files in it.
Up in the right corner, there will be this icon (very tiny):
Click on this and it will download to your computer.
I drew a United States map for my camper to show the states we've camped in. It includes a printable version, plus cut files if you have a vinyl cutter, you can get the file at Etsy.
If you use the file, let me know! If you have any problems downloading it, contact me and I'll try to help. You are free to use it, but not sell it, or share it. If someone wants one, please send them here!
