DIY Window Bird Feeder for Our Fine Feathered Friends!

This is going to make you smack your forehead.

I was sitting in my new travel trailer that has a lot of windows, watching the birds and wishing I had a window bird feeder. So, I designed and built a nice wooden one, based on one I had seen years ago. It's nice, but it takes time, materials and woodworking skills to make it.  It also takes up a lot of room in my tiny house. 

One day as I was walking through Dollar Tree, I saw something . . . 

Table System - How to Finish the Tops of the Table Legs

You've probably seen the knock down tables I built for my camper. Oh, you didn't? Well, check it out - it is a table system that makes 2 snack tables or a dining/game table, comes apart, stores flat, takes up very little room and can be easily built with inexpensive materials! See it here!

When the dining table is up, the tops of the legs are visible. So, I thought I should finish them off a little nicer than just bare pvc. 

First I filled them with a wood dowel. This worked great, but when I made a second set, I didn't have another dowel.

I did however have a can of Durham's Water Putty.

This pendant is hand-formed and unique. The Angel is formed from a single piece of wire, twisted and soldered into shape. The glass is iridescent white glass that reflects all different colors. It's kind of like mother of pearl. The photos don't show the color as wonderful as it looks in person.
